How technology can help you achieve your health and fitness goals

Technology is a major part of our lives and is engrained in many of our daily activities. From wearable devices, to mobile apps, smartphones and tablets, there are more ways than ever before to stay connected and manage your health goals. Electronic devices and apps aim to help people live healthier lives by tracking their activity, heart rate and eating and sleeping patterns. Apps for smartphones and tablets can also help monitor and track progress to motivate individuals to reach their health and fitness goals.

Whether you received a new gadget or downloaded a new app over the holidays, or are thinking of investing in one, it’s important to remember that the best fitness device or app for you is one you’ll continue to use every day. See what the research says below about apps and technology.
