September is Arthritis Awareness Month in Canada. According to The Arthritis Society, over 4.6 Canadian adults report having arthritis. While arthritis is more common in people age 65 and older, joint pain is not a normal part of healthy aging. Arthritis is a debilitating chronic condition that has many implications for Canada’s aging population, including mobility limitations and increased risk of falls. Arthritis Awareness month provides an opportunity to raise public awareness about arthritis prevention and management options. We’ve compiled a list of our top resources on this topic.
