Will you be my Valentine?

Valentine’s Day is a great reminder of the importance of taking care of your heart health. People with high blood pressure or high cholesterol and those with diabetes or who smoke are at greater risk for heart disease.

Did you know that reducing salt intake for at least four weeks can significantly lower ‪blood pressure and the risk of heart disease? ‪Making other healthy choices (for example, eating well, staying active, and quitting smoking) can also help reduce your risk of cardiovascular disease.

Since February is also heart month, there’s no better time to learn more about how to protect your heart health! Read more (and share!) our heart health resources below.
