How do I stay up to date with new content?

We recommend you subscribe to 'What's New in Healthy Aging' email alerts in order to stay up to date with new Blog Posts, Evidence Summaries and Web Resource Ratings. You may also choose to register with the Portal to receive Professional Alerts with the latest research from our professional databases.

Use the subscribe feature on our homepage to sign up for 'What's New in Healthy Aging'. If you are a registered user, you can enable email alerts for any of the roles/personal categories on the Portal from the main account profile area. Select the alert you wish to subscribe to and select the checkbox to enable email alerts for that role. 

  • 'What's New in Healthy Aging' will provide you weekly updates with new Blog Posts, Evidence Summaries and Web Resource Ratings.
  • Clinician alerts will send you new research from the McMasterPLUS database with articles targeted toward clinicians on topics of your choice.
  • Public health alerts will send you recently appraised systematic reviews targeted toward public health professionals on topics of your choice.
  • Health-system policymaker alerts will send you new articles targeted toward policymakers on topics of your choice.
  • Social-system policymaker alerts will send you new articles targeted toward policymakers on topics of your choice.
New articles are constantly being reviewed and published to the Portal so check back often and subscribe to email alerts to stay up to date.
