World Cancer Day

February 4th is World Cancer Day, a worldwide event that unites the global population in the fight against cancer. World Cancer Day aims to save millions of preventable deaths by raising awareness about this devastating disease. Under the theme ‘We can. I can’ World Cancer Day has one primary objective: to inspire everyone to reduce the burden that cancer has on individuals, families and communities. What are three simple things we can we do? Make healthy lifestyle choices, understand that early detection can save lives, and recognize the importance of asking for support. Together, we can make a difference.

The fight against cancer involves having access to, and consulting credible, evidence-based information about prevention and treatment options. Read (and share!) our cancer resources below.
