Alzheimer’s Awareness Month

Alzheimer’s disease is one of the main causes of dementia. Did you know that it accounts for approximately 80% of all cases of dementia in Canada?

Although dementia mainly affects older people, it is not a normal part of aging. While no cure has been found yet, there is lots of evidence available for those worried about it or caring for someone living with it. January is Alzheimer’s Awareness Month in Canada, making it a perfect time to learn more about the warning signs and check out our other resources:
