Staying connected to loved ones during the holidays

The holidays are often a time to gather with friends and family and celebrate the season. But for some, celebrating in person is not a possibility. If you cannot physically be with friends and family to celebrate, that doesn’t mean we can’t feel connected to one another. By harnessing the power of technology, we can connect with loved ones from home using virtual tools like video chat or the phone.

Consider setting up designated times to chat with loved ones and family throughout the holidays and reach out to those who may be on their own to talk to them and wish them well. A phone call or video chat with someone may be what they need to brighten their spirits!

Maintaining social connections throughout the holidays and beyond can help reduce feelings of loneliness and social isolation. Read through some of our helpful resources below to learn more about ways to stay connected to those you love.

We wish you and yours a happy, healthy holiday!
